We prepare students for competitive exams such as NEET, MHT CET, and JEE MHT-CET: Maharashtra Common Entrance Test, also known as MHT-CET, is an annual state-level entrance examination conducted by the Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell , Maharashtra, for admission to undergraduate courses in various fields such as Engineering, Pharmacy, Agriculture, and allied health sciences (medicine) across various colleges and universities in Maharashtra. MHT CET exam will be conducted in two groups- PCM (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics) and PCB (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology). Candidates interested for admission to engineering courses have to appear in the PCM group while the candidates for pharmacy courses have to appear in the PCB group. The selection of PCM/PCB courses has to be made while filling the MHT CET application form. Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible to appear for the MHT CET exam, candidates must fulfill the following criteria: • Nationality: Indian • Domicile: Candidates must be domiciled in Maharashtra. • Age Limit: There is no age limit to appear for the MHT CET exam. • Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed Class 12th or equivalent examination from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology as compulsory subjects. MHT CET Exam Pattern: Mode of Examination : Online, Computer Based Test For PCM Group Section 1- Physics and Chemistry Section 2- Mathematics For PCB Group Section 1- Physics and Chemistry Section 2- Biology Duration of Exam :180 minutes (90 minutes for each section) Type of Questions : Multiple Choice Questions Total number of Questions : PCM Group - 150 Questions (50 from each subject) PCB Group - 200 Questions (100 from Biology and 50 each from Physics & Chemistry) • Marking Scheme: 1 mark per question in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. 2 marks per question in Mathematics. Total Marks 200 marks (100 marks for each section) • Syllabus: Based on the Maharashtra State Board syllabus, with 20% weightage from Class 11 and 80% from Class 12. Language of Examination • Mathematics will be in the English language • Physics and Chemistry will be in English/Urdu/Marathi • Biology will be in English/Urdu/Marathi
